Meetings & Conferences

PR staff of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office London (the British Government department responsible for overseas relations and foreign affairs) covered our International Conference on Endangered Languages held in Kyoto last November. A copy of their documentary series Beyond Babel (200 minutes) was sent to us. Supremacy of English language is discussed in it, while various endangered languages are taken up. Our Kyoto conference is also introduced. The series will be produced on DVD for educational use, and will be distributed on a non-profit basis to educational institutions around the world.
